The Board of Directors

Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière
Chairman of Fimalac and major sponsor of the Louvre, chairs the Board of Directors of Agence France-Muséums.

The Board of Directors includes two other qualified public figures:


Jean Guéguinou, French ambassador, and Christian Giacomotto, Chairman of the Board of Managing Partners of Gimar Finance.

 

The following public cultural institutions are represented by their respective chairmen:

  • Bruno Racine, Chairman of the Bibliothèque nationale de France,
  • Alain Seban, Chairman of the Centre Pompidou,
  • Henri Loyrette, Chairman-director of the musée du Louvre,
  • Guy Cogeval, Chairman of the musée d’Orsay,
  • Stéphane Martin, Chairman of the musée du quai Branly,
  • Thomas Grenon, General Administrator of the Réunion des musées nationaux.


The State is represented on the Board of Directors

Marie-Christine Labourdette, Director of Direction des musées de France, and Delphine Borione, Director of Direction de la politique culturelle et du français, are two observers who take part in proceedings in an advisory capacity.

They are appointed respectively by the Minister for Culture and Communication and by the Minister for Foreign and European Affairs.
